Spot info

Very long big beach which in summer gets extremly overcrowded. No shells just fine sand. In winter with West winds big waves (1-3m), rest of year choppy.

Access

Fly into Malaga or Jerez de la Fontera. Tarifa is the most southern point of Spain. The beach is on the right side of the Tarifa port.

Wind, weather and season

Air in winter 20°C, in summer between 25 and 35°C. Water between 18°C in winter and 23°C in summer. Winter long wetsuit, summer shorty or shorts, rest of year shorty. Levante (Northeast wind) is gusty and strong between 15-30 knots. Normally but some days 40 knots. Poniente (West wind) is perfect for kitesurfing with 8-20 knots. Sideshore NNW and SSE.
