Spot info
One
of the most famous spot in Europe and the main wave spot of France,
Wissant’s gorgeous fine sand beach makes a wide curve between the Cap
Gris-Nez (Grey-Nose Cape) and the Cap Blanc-Nez (White-Nose Cape).
A very large beach of nice and soft sand at low tide, it could be a bit
far away to walk to the sea when it's low tide. At high tide there is
only a little part of sand which is enough to put the stuff of
everyone. There are no rocks. No problem to launch and land kites.
The coast of the two capes is a national site protected since 1987. Nice town with home made beer!
