Pelican Point is in the city and easy to going there with public transport and car. To set up your kite is enough grass around, for launch your kite it is better to go in the water. On good windy days there are a lot of people in the water! The water is flat and shallow warm weather and water during November to March.
Not suited for the total novice as trees line the shore down wind, requires basic skills. The area around the 'wildlife migrational protection zone' is a no kite zone thus requires you to be able to stay up wind in the gusty conditions that rain kind there
