Coronation Beach Nature Reserve Park
Coronation Beach is located at the northern end of the coastline of the Shire of Chapman Valley and is approximately 25km north of the Geraldton City Centre. Renowned as one of the finest windsurfing locations in the world, it attracts also many kiters. Although only a nature based park providing limited facilities, Coronation Beach is a very popular informal caravan and camping destination for both visitors and locals alike. Camping fees of $10 per night per car are collected by the Shire Ranger enabling the Council to offset some operating costs. Please note the following if you intend a camping trip to Coronation Beach camping reserve: - No wood available for camp fires - please bring your own. Cutting down trees attacts a hefty fine and desecrates the environment. No fresh water available. No showers provided. Ablution facilities provided. Gas barbecue is provided. There is no power to the camping reserve. Generator power welcomed. Conditions apply. No bookings. First come, first served.
